You're right..

Even though we all know 'Leadership is EVERYTHING..' too few companies have a formal, systematic leadership development programme.

Nurturing young leaders means they not only are more likely to stay with you, they are the future of your company.

None of us is immortal yet we lead as if we will go on forever.. WRONG..

Mentoring young leaders is the responsibility of the tribal elders.. as it has been since the dawn of time.

All successful societies have trained and instilled strong leadership skills into their young..

Take action today... Your future depends upon it..

Nice work Andrew.. Keep it up.

Hi Andrew,

It is truly sad that a number of organizations have cut their leadership development budgets, in fact I feel that leadership skills are important and very much required in the rapidly growing macro environments...

Hopefully the companies have began to realize the value to maintaining LT goals and development of young leaders.

Hi Andrew, I googled 'Leadership' to prepare for my bid to a travelling bursary and came across your blog by accident. I am a newly trained coach and I often wonder whether there is coaching in SE Asian countries like Spore. I was born in Malaysia but now live and work in UK. I was in Malaysia and Singapore in Jan and Feb this year. I wonder whether you are happy to talk to me if I succeeed in getting the travel bursary for 2010. I was hoping to visit a few countries and talk to a number of people. Coaching is one interesting dimensions I am keen to look into. May be we can also exchange ideas and experiences on coaching and leadership subjects. Are you on Linkedin? Best wishes,
Mary
